Most Weekend Occurrences

  • ALL guests MUST check-in. Display a car pass and pay the $5 visitor fee.
  • Departures are not allowed on Saturdays, and Sundays during Memorial & Labor Day Weekends and Star-Spangled Spectacular Weekend.
  • Required: 2-night minimum on regular weekends, 3-night minimum on Memorial & Labor Day Weekends, and 4-night minimum on Star-Spangled Spectacular Weekend
  • *BONUS Night* Camping Special: Get a head start on your vacation or make it last longer! Camp with us for the holiday three night minimum or 2 consecutive nights on other weekends, and add an extra night for half price (applies to rental units & water/electric sites ONLY, excludes full hookup sites). Cannot be combined with any other discounts. We will honor whichever discount is the best rate for you (i.e. Good Sam, weekly rate, etc.).
  • Holiday premiums apply to 3-nights for Memorial & Labor Day Weekend and a 4-night minimum for the Star-Spangled Spectacular Weekend
  • Holiday weekend pumping at your site will be offered for weekend campers only on Sunday morning, please sign up in the store-$25. 


From Memorial Day-Labor Day

  • Planned activities, crafts, train rides, outdoor movies, and Friday night TEEN volleyball tourney (ages 9yrs to 17yrs). 
  • Sightings and pictures with Frankie the Frog!
  • OCC Canteen is open May 10th - Sept. 22nd *Lunch & Dinner features, and treats, at the OCC Canteen. Enjoy Burgers, Fish Fry, and Pizza. Serving Bloody’s, Margarita’s & Mule’s, etc…at the OCC Camp Store and Canteen.
  • Saturday or Sunday breakfasts.

  • Clean up, clean up...Earth Day is recognized as the largest civic event in the world. Seasonal’s, pitch in and clean up the areas around your site, rake, blow off the road or pick up litter. Please do not burn leaves & debris or rake into the creek.

  • Invite your family, invite your friends, book your sites, and make your plans!
  • Bring your “trash” and sell it as a “treasure”! Set up at your site. (All your belongings must be taken home, not dumped in our trash.) Seasonal Campers check-in for 2024 and get your tokens of appreciation.

  • Celebrate ALL Heroes (Armed Forces Day May 18th) Dress up as your favorite Superhero and enter the costume Contest! We will honor our Armed Forces, Veterans, Firefighters, and Police Departments, all Emergency/Volunteer Personnel, Teachers, and Medical Profession (Licensed Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, etc).

  • Pumping at your site will be offered for weekend campers only on Sunday morning, please sign up in the store/$25 a unit. Holiday premium applies to the 3-night minimum.

  • 7/5 - LIVE music on the OCC Leap Pad from a local band 'Last Open Road' Listen for a classical, finger-picking style to breathe new life into popular music from the 70s to current hits.
